A long-running Aspen tradition where the Aspen Ski School instructors face off against Aspen Ski Patrol in a charity hockey game. It started as a fundraiser and a friendly-but-fierce rivalry with bragging rights on the line every winter.

The event is named after William Snyder, a legendary Aspen ski instructor who passed away in a skiing accident in the early 2023. The Snyder Cup was created in his honor and has since become one of the most spirited community events of the season, mixing competition, and camaraderie a true reflection of Aspen’s culture.
